A powerful and colorful elopement where authenticity and classicism meet in a marvelous Tuscan villa
When we designed, as wedding and event planners, the mood board for this photoshoot, we wanted to realize something unconventional and powerful, we had a clear vision in mind and wanted to tell a fascinating story that starts like this…
…after being engaged for 5 years, Becky and Sheryl from Manhattan finally had their dream wedding in Tuscany. They wanted to do an elopement wedding with just the two of them and some closest friends. Being both models, they met for the first time in the backstage at a fashion show. When they decided to get married in Tuscany, they chose to hire Chiara and Silvia, since they were looking for local professionals that could have helped them with the planning of every aspect. They created together the mood board for their wedding, as they wanted to realize something unconventional and powerful for their special day. Becky and Sheryl wanted to give birth to a unique event that would have aroused the interest and wonder of their guests. Their dreamy story has been narrated by the ability of Isabella Pratesi Photographer and filmed by Wedding Key Studio. Everything was made possible thanks to the skill and expertise of the whole team.
They decided to celebrate their love at Villa Pazzi al Parugiano, one of the most prestigious and historic villas in Tuscany, located near Florence. A place where authenticity and classicism meet and give life to something extraordinary and unprecedented.
WHIMSICAL DETAILS DEFINED THE DAY, INCLUDING GIANT, HANDCRAFTED AND MOVEABLE FLOWERS
Becky and Sheryl decided to celebrate their elopement at Villa Pazzi al Parugiano, one of the most prestigious and historic villas in Tuscany and located near Florence. This venue was truly a place where authenticity and classicism come together.
Since they both love vivid colors, every detail of their wedding was designed to emphasize the brightness of the color palette, resulting in a balanced and well-defined eye-catching event in every respect. The couple’s flowers came out better than they ever imagined, thanks to the mastery of I Fiori di Nadia, thus creating wonderful floral arrangements perfect for each of their special moments. Some of the elements return in various moments and different angles, such as the wonderful giant flowers created by the craftsmanship of Giant Flowers Artist, used also to decorate the photo booth corner and tableau de mariage, made by the talented Laura Mazzetti, calligrapher of The Wedding Letters. She managed to create a graphic coordinate and stationery that recalled the theme of the whole event, anticipated by the beauty of the invitations.
On that day, Becky and Sheryl felt more beautiful than ever, thanks to the excellent natural effect of hair and makeup by Oh My Blush! Make up & Glam. The ceremony was held in the great Italian garden, close to the orangerie, at whose entrance there was a fascinating arch made of giant leaves and flowers. For the ceremony, Becky and Sheryl chose to wear tailor-made wedding dresses by FRAN designer, made even more beautiful thanks to some accessories and sparkling jewels by Paci Gioielli.
A STUNNING DINNER RECEPTION OF LGBTQ WEDDING
The couple wanted an unforgettable dinner reception and they entrusted Valerio Ricevimenti to take care of their food and table setting. The reception dinner took place above the orangerie, in the marvelous Altana, a splendid covered loggia made with columns and enriched by statues. The result was a stunning mise en place made of: Tuscan wooden chairs, a fuchsia table runner, beautiful decorated plates, and yellow napkins with colored menus and place cards with each guest name. Everything was wonderful, I Fiori di Nadia managed to embellish the table with candles and little vases of every shape and color, giving life to a breathtaking masterpiece.
A SURPRISE TWIST AND HAPPY ENDING FOR LGBTQ+ WEDDING
Becky and Sheryl always dreamed of a different wedding, that is why they chose to change clothes after their ceremony, and they wore two marvelous dresses by FRAN designer: one in fuchsia and the other one in lime green, the perfect match to continue their party and amaze their loved ones. From the very beginning, they had a special request about the cake cutting: they both wanted to wear a crown of flowers and Oh My Blush! Make up & Glam crafted two headbands and perfectly satisfied their request. Their party went on with music and fun and it’s easy to see through these images just how happy they were and how filled with love this special day was for Becky and Sheryl!
